Sunday, Aug. 11, is the last day of the Healdsburg Guitar Festival in Santa Rosa, running 8 a.m.-6 p.m. with custom guitars, lutherie seminars, performer workshops, live music and demonstration concerts. The “Farm to Table” exhibit has joined the extended MacMurray Ranch exhibition at the Healdsburg Museum, 221 Matheson St. through November 10. “This exhibit focuses on the agricultural heritage of northern Sonoma County: the crops, the foodways and the agricultural practices. It will also highlight contemporary efforts to keep agricultural traditions alive: farmer’s markets, community-supported agriculture programs (CSAs), Farm to Pantry gleaners, Sonoma County Farm Trails, Sonoma County Farm Bureau and Slow Food.” Healdsburg Museum is free and open to the public Wednesday – Sunday from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. For more information call 431-3325.

Meet artist Robert Michael Smith, a digital sculptor and associate professor at the New York Institute of Technology, at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, when he lectures at Hammerfriar Gallery, 132 Mill St., Suite 101. “Regenesis,” an exhibit of his work, runs through Aug. 24. Smith is a pioneer in digital sculpture, using emerging technologies such as 3D visualization animation, rapid prototypes and CNC milling.
