Artist on the Road: Papapietro Perry

Last week, I stopped by Papapietro Perry Winery to pick up a bottle of pinot noir for the holidays. I tasted many wines, including the ’08 Russian River Valley Pinot, a blend from five family vineyards. The wine was silky smooth and beautifully balanced.

It reminded me of a recent autumn day spent with friends bicycling through Dry Creek Valley. Since enjoying life’s pleasures with loved ones is what makes the holidays special, I decided to pick up a bottle.
