Jewelry “trunk sale” at Merc Shop

The Mercantile Shop will be having it’s first-ever trunk sale this week, featuring Mingle Jewelry Design on Friday, Nov. 16 from 4-7 p.m. at the shop, which is located at 333 Center Street.

Mingle is handcrafted jewelry created by Oakland resident Rachel Roberts. The sale will feature new styles and designs by Mingle and a large assortment from their collection of gold silver and rose gold pieces.

Food will including apple chutney from the School Garden as well as a selection of local wines.. The Mercantile Shop, which opened earlier this year, is a specialty boutique store that  offers clothing for men, women and children, as well as house wares, accessories, jewelry, and pantry items.  The store showcases products from local artisans and producers, as well as international designers.
