Author and wine critic Asimov coming to Hotel Healdsburg
Author and wine expert Eric Asimov, the well-known wine critic for The New York Times will be talking about and signing copies of his new book “How to Love Wine: A Memoir & Manifesto” on Nov. 12 at Hotel Healdsburg.
“Words and Wines with Eric Asimov” features two separate events — a wine tasting and book signing followed by a specially prepared dinner featuring wines chosen by Asimov from the Dry Creek Kitchen wine list.
The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a signing and tasting in The Grange Hall where Asimov will share his tips and passion for the art of wine tasting. For the event, he will be selecting three of his favorite wines from the restaurant’s extensive Sonoma County list. Admission is free with purchase of the book ($24.99) or $15 without, and can be purchased at Copperfield’s or at the door if still available.
