Alexander Valley wine good enough for Timberlake and Biel

Justin and Jessica tied the tied the knot last month in Italy, but everyone who cares about such celebrity goings-on already knows that.

Less known is that the custom wine actress Jessica Biel and singer/actor Justin Timberlake served and gave to guests as gifts was made by longtime friend and snowboarding buddy Jesse Katz, winemaker at Lancaster Estate in Alexander Valley.
Katz, son of renowned Sonoma County photographer Andy Katz, made the wine-savvy couple two barrels of a 2009 red blend they called Blue Ocean Floor.
Katz, 28, has hit the slopes in his native Colorado with Biel and Timberlake for years, and the couple has been big on his wines since he honed his skills at Napa’s Screaming Eagle.

Biel and Timberlake created artwork for their wedding wine’s label and it was made into a bottle label by Ellen Riendeau of Soda Rock Studios.
So now, may the marriage age as well as the wine.
